Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has said that if she and her estranged lover, Opeyemi Falegan had married her, she could have made their relationship “work.”

The movie star reaffirmed that she was “never married to anybody” in a post on her Instagram story on Sunday.

Additionally, she stated that Falegan had not paid for her bride price and that their relationship was an “open” one.

“I am going to say this for the very last time, I was never married to anybody. My mama no collect the bride price from anybody before she die. Nobody paid a dime on my head.”

I was only in an open relationship that everyone thought was marriage. If I were to be married, I would have done everything to make it work.

Just today, a stupid TV station still made reference to my past relationship. Abeg una no dey tire? What the actual f**k.”

She had broken up with the politician in April, who was widely believed to be the actress’s husband.

Since their breakup, the duo has remained in the spotlight, occasionally exchanging verbal blows with one another.

Falegan has previously expressed regret to the actress. While telling her, “I still love you,” he acknowledged that he had “messed up.”

Later on, he claimed that the reason he ended the relationship was because of her hygiene.

She could go “three days without washing her underwear,” he claimed of the famous actress.
