Actress, Osas Ighodaro reflects on 10-year career
Nollywood actress and producer, Osas Ighodaro, has taken a break to reflect on her ten-year career.
The actress, who resided in the United States before relocating to Nigeria ten years ago, believes she made the right choice.
Ighodaro, who co-hosted the recent Headies awards in Atlanta, said her ten-year return to Nigeria irrevocably impacted her life.
10 years ago, on this day, I embarked on a journey to Nigeria not my first trip to Naija – but certainly a trip that changed my life….forever.
For me, the element of water encapsulates a beautiful representation of my time in Naija so far; my flow, my fight and my freedom.
I was meant to stay in Naija for just six months and here I am 10 years later. I’m forever grateful for my journey so far and I look forward to what’s to come. God’s plan is always the best and I’m grateful to celebrate this.
To commemorate her ten years in Nigeria, she shared a professional dance video on Instagram set to Fela Kuti’s ‘Water No Get Enemy.’
