Burna Boy, Tems announced as nominees for BET Hip-Hop Awards

Nigerian music stars, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy and Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, have been nominated for the 17th BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will be held in Atlanta, United States, on Friday, September 30, 2022.

The nomination list, which was released on Monday, recognized the previous year in hip hop music across 17 categories and was compiled by a voting academy of prestigious music industry professionals.

Burna Boy received a Video Director of the Year nomination for his self-directed music video, ‘Last Last.’ Tems received three nominations for her role in Future’s “Wait For U” at the same time.
