Jim Iyke receives Chieftaincy title in Ghana
Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has received a Chieftaincy title in Ghana.
According to The PUNCH, Her Royal Highness, the Eze Ndigbo Ghana, Dr. Chukwudi Ihenetu, bestowed the title “Ohadike 1 of Ndigbo” on the actor.
The coronation was said to have occurred during the tenth Yam Festival.
Iyke was recognised for his contributions to the Igbo community and the African entertainment industry, according to Ihenetu.
In 2018, a number of Nigerian celebrities received chieftaincy titles, including music artist D’banj, actor Alexx Ekubo, and reality TV star Teddy A.
