During the elections conducted at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, about 120 delegates representing 20 states cast ballots. Chairman of the NEC, Steve Eboh, and Emma Ogugua, the head of the guild’s board of trustees, oversaw the election.
Emeka Rollas, the guild’s current national president, was re-elected, while Nazareth Jesse, Marcus Maina, Bukky Fagbuyi, Clement Anigbo, and Moklese Osain will be vice presidents for the North-Central, North-East, South-West, South-East, and South-South regions, respectively.
While Chelsea Nwodo was elected as the guild’s Assistant Secretary, Abubakar Sanusi was successful in his effort to become the AGN Secretary-General.
Emeka Duru, who will serve as financial secretary, Oby Okafor, who will serve as treasurer, David Akuma, who will serve as director of guild services, and Kea Adams, who will serve as provost, are the other elected officials.
