Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has reportedly passed away at age 51.

The singer allegedly collapsed at his home, according to Peoples Gazette.

However, other reports stated that the musician had been undergoing treatment for an unidentified illness at the hospital for a few days.

He was reportedly recovering, but sadly, this morning his health worsened, and he passed away.

The singer left behind his wife, Ozioma and his kids.
