Davido, Tems to perform at Governor’s Ball Music Festival
Nigerian musical star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, and Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, will be joining a number of other international music stars to perform at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City in June 2023, so several Nigerian music artists’ calendars for that year are already booked.
The music festival, Governor’s Ball takes place on Randall Island in New York. It includes a wide range of musical genres, including rock, hip-hop, folk, Americana, and many others.
On Friday, June 9, Davido will take the stage alongside Lizzo, who will serve as the festival’s opening act, as well as Lil Uzi Vert and Diplo. On Sunday, June 11, Tems will perform alongside headliner Kendrick Lamar, Giveon, Lil Nas X, and other artists.
