Michael Jackson’s Ex-wife, Lisa Marie Dies at 54
American songwriter and Micheal Jackson’s former wife, Lisa Marie-Presley, has died at age 54.
Reports say Lisa Presley, the late Elvis Presley’s only child, passed away on Thursday after being taken to a hospital in California after suffering a heart arrest.
The deceased’s mother, Priscilla Presley, acknowledged the death in a statement and called it heartbreaking news.
She also insisted on granting the family privacy so they could process the tragic loss.
She wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate strong, and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment”
Elvis and Priscilla Presley have just one child, Lisa Marie. In the 2000s, she had her own albums available and performed live. On January 10, she was present for Austin Butler’s triumph for best actor in a drama for his role as her late father in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis at the 2023 Golden Globes.
