Men who leave roles for women are ‘weak’ – Okon Lagos
Nollywood actor, Imeh Bishop Umoh, better known as Okon Lagos, has criticized males who abandon their roles to support women.
In response to a story about a woman who financed her man to study abroad only for him to later abandon her and wed another woman, the comedic actor voiced his opinion.
Such males, according to Okon, are “weak.” He continued by saying that a woman’s wealth shouldn’t be good for a man if he doesn’t think she’s suitable for marriage.
He emphasized that a man’s traditional responsibility involves providing for and protecting his family.
He maintained that those tasks are not the responsibility of women and that any assistance from women in a man’s job should be viewed as a privilege.
“If you are a man, be a man,” he added.
