The Media is recognizing 30 outstanding Nigerians who have made significant contributions across media, entertainment, business, and public service.

This prestigious annual recognition highlights individuals whose dedication and influence have shaped their industries.

The list includes leading media personalities such as Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, entrepreneur Toke Makinwa, and Tunde Onakoya, who has leveraged chess for youth empowerment.

The music industry is well represented by global superstars Burna Boy and Davido, both of whom have propelled Nigerian music to international heights.

Funke Akindele receives recognition for her transformative work in Nollywood, while CNN’s Stephanie Busari is honored for her fearless investigative journalism. Channels TV’s Seun Okinbaloye and actress-TV host Nancy Isime are also among this year’s honorees.

Among the honorees is Ediale Kingsley, a respected journalist and PR expert known for elevating media narratives and strengthening brand communications. Through insightful reporting and strategic storytelling, he has played a key role in shaping public perception and enhancing business visibility.

Also recognized is Mo Abudu, the visionary CEO of EbonyLife Media; Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a globally celebrated author; and Kunle Afolayan, a filmmaker pushing Nollywood’s creative boundaries.

In the tech sector, Mark Essien is acknowledged for his innovations with Hotels.ng, while Linda Ikeji remains a trailblazer in digital media. Toyosi Ogunseye’s contributions to journalism and Femi Odugbemi’s excellence in documentary filmmaking further highlight the impact of media professionals shaping Nigeria’s storytelling landscape.

Nollywood veterans Osita Iheme (Pawpaw) and Eniola Badmus receive recognition for their contributions to film, while comedian and digital content creator Broda Shaggi is honored for his influence in online entertainment.

Branding and media strategist Blessing Abeng, political strategist Debola Williams, and media powerhouse IK Osakioduwa also make the list, alongside acclaimed filmmaker Kemi Adetiba, director of King of Boys.

The award further celebrates the legendary Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), journalist and entrepreneur Chude Jideonwo, and artist-activist Falz. Public speaker Aisha Yesufu and journalist Lamide Akintobi complete the list of honorees, all of whom exemplify excellence, influence, and dedication to their fields.

Among the recognized names is Nollywood actor Uche Ben Nwaezeapu, who joins this year’s list of awardees.
