3 Celebrity Baby bumps at Met Gala red carpet
It wasn’t just the jaw-dropping Met Gala outfits that stopped the show this year.
Fashion fans were also treated to not just one, but two, surprise celebrity pregnancy announcements and Rihanna gracing the red carpet with her baby bump.
Serena Williams, 41, and Karlie Kloss, 30, showed up to the red carpet cradling their baby bumps on the first Monday in May in their best maternity styles that honored the night’s theme, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty.

Serena Williams, a 41-year-old tennis ace is expecting her second child after revealing her pregnancy as she arrived at the 2023 Met Gala. She showed off a prominent baby bump as she walked the red carpet with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, who is a co-founder of Reddit.
Serena Williams welcomed her first child, a daughter named Alexis Olympia Jr. in 2017, but she goes by Olympia.
She also confirmed the pregnancy with an Instagram post showcasing her elegant Gucci dress.
Karlie Kloss (Baby number 2)
Karlie Kloss, a seasoned model is expecting her second child. She showed off her far-along baby bump as she hit the red carpet at the 2023 Met Gala in New York on Monday night.
This comes two years after welcoming her first child, the supermodel is ready for her second with entrepreneur Josh Kushner.
The model, 30, wore a stunning skintight black gown that clung to her curves and was adorned with strings of white pearls.
This will be the second child for Karlie and her businessman husband, 37-year-old Joshua Kushner.
Karlie’s partner also accompanied her to the event.
The couple welcomed their first child – son Levi who is now two – in March 2021.
Rihanna (Baby number 2)
Rihanna, who was fashionably late to Monday night’s Met Gala, had announced her second pregnancy on the world’s biggest music stage, the Super Bowl Halftime performance, back in February.
She is expecting her second child with 34-year-old partner A$AP Rocky.

In January last year, Rihanna made headlines around the world when she confirmed she was having her first baby by releasing a series of images of her growing bump.
