AFRIMMA 2023 to honour African music ambassadors generously

The 10th African Music Award Ceremony in Diaspora, AFRIMMA 2023 aimed to celebrate African music excellence, has promised to be more entertaining and fun filled.

No doubt, the past decade in the history of contemporary African music has recorded series of record-breaking achievements and AFRIMMA 2023 is set to take this to the higher level.

The African Muzik Magazine Awards- AFRIMMA seeks to consolidate on the success of previous ceremony by continuing its quest of crossing boundaries with music. In the words of AFRIMMA Board President, Anderson Obiagwu, “it promises to be the biggest and best version of the award ceremony, AFRIMMA is 10 and African music in the past 10 years has reached new milestones and it’s worth rolling out the drums in celebration”.

The Award ceremony is set to take place at the monumental Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas on the 17th of September 2023. Alongside the main ceremony would be events like the highly topical AFRIMMA Music Panel which has come to be a feature of the award ceremony. Likewise, the AFRIMMA Fashion show which would take place on the 16th of September 2023 at the 5am Theatre. This would be another historic event of the AFRIMMA Fashion Show with World renowned fashion houses gracing the glamorous fashion stage.

AFRIMMA is the sole African award ceremony in Diaspora that celebrates African music stars on the international stage. The first edition was held on July 26th, 2014, at the Eisenmann Center, Dallas. African music is writing a beautiful story and AFRIMMA Awards & Music Festival was created to help African artists cross boundaries with music. African Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival that caters to all musical genres, including but not limited to Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Highlife, Funaná, Genge, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous.
