In a stunning revelation, Canadian rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, widely known as Drake, recently unveiled the results of a DNA test, shedding light on his ancestral roots.
Taking to his Instagram story on Monday, Drake shared a screenshot of his father’s DNA test result, sparking curiosity and excitement among his fans.
The result showcased a remarkable connection to Nigeria, with the highest percentage of ethnicity recorded at 30%.
Following closely behind were Cameroon, Congo, and Western Bantu Peoples at 28%, and Ivory Coast and Ghana at 11%.
Expressing his surprise and humor, Drake captioned the post, “This my dad’s results. Does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?”
The term “Naija” is a popular slang used to refer to Nigeria, reflecting Drake’s lighthearted excitement about his newfound connection to the country.
