Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema has cemented his place in music history by joining the elite list of Nigerian musicians featured in the Guinness World Book of Records.
The talented singer achieved this feat with his hit song ‘Calm Down’, which rose to the top of the official MENA chart (Middle East and North Africa chart) – the world’s first-ever regional streaming chart.
Guinness World Record officially recognized Rema for his achievement in a statement on its website, confirming that the singer secured the coveted number 1 spot on the world’s first regional streaming chart and first-ever official chart in MENA.
Rema’s achievement places him in the same league as other Nigerian music icons like Femi Kuti and Wizkid who have also made it into the Guinness World Book of Records.
