Christmas Day Glow

Tomorrow is Christmas, and I’m sure your schedule is jam-packed with invitations to Christmas parties and family reunions. Aside from putting together the perfect Christmas party dress, it’s time to add a little more glow to your look with make-up.
Anything goes for Christmas party makeup: red lipstick, glittering eyeshadow, glossy nails, and hair. Because Christmas is all about shimmer and sparkle, why not include it in your party makeup in the most stunningly modern way possible?
We’ve gathered all the make-up necessities you’ll need to glam yourself up for your Christmas parties and steal the show.

Prepare your skin
Preparation is the key to flawless party makeup. After a good bath, moisturize your skin with a moisturizer that suits your skin to keep it nourished and glowing from within.

Shape your brows

Make certain that your brows are nicely defined. Fill up any gaps with the softest, smoothest strokes from an eye pencil.

Golden glimmers or green liners

Want to make your eyes pop? Green or gold liners can do the trick! They bring a nice pop of colour, especially when applied along your upper lash line.

Sparkling eyeshadows

Making your eyes glow with some glitter accents will surely make you holiday party-ready. Whether you’re going full glam or keeping it classic, sometimes a sparkling eyeshadow is all you need for that added festive touch.

The classic red pout
Red lips for Christmas is a classic! This lip colour always slays, no matter what outfit you pick. Whether you are planning to make your pouters the center of attention or make them a part of the whole ensemble, red lipstick is the secret sauce for that glam makeover.

Shining, shimmering cheeks
Give yourself not only a healthy and radiant glow but also a festive one with some gorgeous tints that will make your cheeks shimmer. Make-up experts also suggest applying the blush on your cheekbones, blending upward, toward your hairline to create a lifted effect.

Festive Nails on Fleek
Even if you’re not feeling like getting all dolled up for the parties, let your fab nails do all the talking. Make your nails pop by adding a splash of glittery nail polish), and the classic red and gold combo is so Christmassy.

Wrapped High Pony
You can’t go wrong with a super sleek high ponytail that goes from work to celebration by wrapping a piece of hair around the base to conceal the elastic. Simply pin underneath with bobby pins.
