SMAGOGA Class of ’84 celebrates 40 years reunion

St. Maria Goretti Old Girls Association, SMAGOGA, Class of “84, last weekend celebrated their 40th reunion post- graduation.
Themed “Reunite to Impact,” the Three-day weekend getaway, took place at the serene Epe Resort, Epe, Lagos.

Members of the “84 Class affectionately called “84 Angels” traveled from all parts of Nigeria and abroad to grace the occasion.
The teenagers in 1984 who are now professionals from all walks of life, had a tour of Epe on Friday. They also received talks on Investment and Wellness from Transformational Coach, Engr. Mrs. Ekuase Egbe and Health and Wellness Coach, Ms. Judy Okolo. Day two was capped with Ruby Red-themed dinner.

High point of the reunion was a thanksgiving Mass at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Epe.
Giving the vote of thanks, Coordinator of the Benin Team, Prof. Rita Momoh expressed gratitude to the planning committee for a job well done.
She further encouraged members to be more committed and prayed God to grant the class a stronger bond that cannot be broken, “so that we can do bigger things to the glory of God” she said.
