Breast Cancer Survivor, Eno Essien Lunches Inspiring Memoir

Friends and family gathered in Lagos recently to celebrate the joyous occasion of technology entrepreneur and Rytrack CEO, Eno Essien, a breast cancer survivor, who launched her inspiring new book Unstoppable: My Journey of Resilience.

This powerful memoir shares Essien’s personal battle with cancer and her recovery, offering a relatable perspective for readers.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Essien said she was was motivated to write her book after recognising the potential impact her experience could have on others facing similar challenges.

She noted that Unstoppable: My Journey of Resilience details the emotional, physical, and psychological highs and lows of her cancer journey, providing hope and encouragement for those who may be struggling.


Essien stressed the importance of early detection and shared her plans for a free screening initiative for women between the ages of 29 and 40.


The book launch which held at the Civic Centre, Lagos, featured an interview session with Ms Essien by veteran Broadcaster Adesuwa Onyenokwe. It also featured readings from the book by friends of Ms. Essien.


Distinguished personalities at the event included the Ooni of Ife represented by his wife, Olori Temitope Ogunwusi; Commissioner, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Lagos State, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende amongst others.
