Nwakaihe Ifunanya Esther, an entrepreneur and fashion designer from Imo State, has
been crowned the new Face of Zikel at the pageant’s 6th edition which took place
recetly in Lagos. Esther, a graduate of Imo State University, beat18 other contestants to
claim the title.

Judges were impressed by Esther’s exceptional skills, charisma, and overall carriage.
Esther’s intellectual abilities and self-assurance also shone through during the
competition’s question and answer sessions, as she impressed judges and the
audience with her performance.

As the new Face of Zikel, Esther will represent and promote the brand’s initiatives,
products, and campaigns. The pageant not only showcased the talents of its
participants but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among them.
The event promises to pave the way for more opportunities for emerging talents in the
future.

Chief Executive Officer, of Zikel Cosmetics International, Kelvin Ezike said: “As always,
the pageantry is not just targeted at crowing beautiful ladies but more importantly,
empowering them to become self-reliant and financially empowered. This year’s theme
is ‘Empowered to Lead.’ The Face of Zikel is an empowerment scheme and a platform
carved out to take young girls off the street and create employment for them.”
It was not a winner-takes-it-all contest, three runners-up were also rewarded with
mouth-watering gifts and cash prices by sponsors of the competition, as part of its
empowerment initiative .
