Court Orders DJ Zeez To Pay Over 2 Million Naira To His Record Label
Nigerian singer and producer, Dj Zeez who sang the popular 2010 hit, “Foka Sibe”, has been ordered by a Lagos High Court judge to pay the sum of N22.3 million, to his record label, HF music for breach of contract.
HF music took the singer to court September 2015 for failure to fuilfill his end of their contract, major reason being the singer refusing to record music.
The sum the judge ordered Dj Zeez to refund to the label, is an accumulation of the expenses the label has accrued on the singer since the day he was signed on.
Would he be able to pay this huge sum of money? What would happen if he fails in doing this? Only time will tell.
