7 squeaky reasons you are having cravings

There are some things that man cannot live without; food is definitely one of them. Food is necessary for energy, growth and for fighting diseases.. Excessive eating is not good as it could lead to obesity.
Do you find yourself constantly going to the fridge to get something to eat?Or do you have unnecessary cravings? If your increased hunger is not as a result of pregnancy or tougher workouts then you might want to check the reason for your insatiable appetite.
Besides, your stress level, diet and sleeping pattern might need to be checked. Below are possible reasons why you are always hungry:

1. You are dehydrated: Drink a glass of water and wait for 20 minutes to see if the hunger subsides.
2. You did not sleep well the past night:  Sleep deprivation can increase a hormone called ghrelin that stimulates appetite.
3. You eat a lot of processed carbs: Foods like white bread increase sugar levels and cause more cravings.
4. You are stressed out: After a hard day, listen to some good tunes or practice yoga. Stress promotes overeating.
5.You take less protein: Foods like lean meat, eggs and proteins generally will keep you fuller longer.
6.You do not eat enough fat: Unsaturated fats found in nuts can be linked to feelings of satiety.

7.You skip meals: Try not to let more 4 or 5 hours go by between meals. It is good to eat something within an hour of waking up.
