As the Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL), prepares to hold it’s 6th edition  come September this year, Nigeria’s Sun Newspapers, has teamed up with Ronke Ademiluyi, organiser of the Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) to bring another dimension of awareness to the globalization of African Fashion, as they set to host a London Conference on Globalizing Africa   fashion.

The conference designed to attract foreign investments to the continent’s fashion industry,  will hold alongside the familiar catwalk shows and exhibition, where Daviva designers,  McStell Fashion Gallery and Ghana’s Nipo Skin, will showcase their new  designs.

McStell a haute couture brand based in Lagos Nigeria, was founded in 2014, with the primary aim of boosting individuals image through clothing. The brand has evolved over the years with innovative ideas and creativity, earning notable awards and recognition for his efforts. ‎ Ghana’s Nipo Skin, a Fashion Brand that operates in the city of Kumasi in Ghana, has been in existence for almost a decade and has over the years, grown to become one of the leading brands in high fashion for men and women in the country. Today, the brand serves the fashion needs of men and women of all colours, ages and incomes, all over the world, by exporting Bespoke pieces to its clients abroad.

Both designers will be gracing the runways of Africa Fashion Week London, 2016, with extraordinary designs, all made with the DaViva fabric.
Since making its debut in 2011, this inspirational event, has gone from strength to strength; championing new and emerging designers who are inspired by the rich culture of Africa, while incorporating this heritage into their contemporary design.

This year’s Africa Fashion Week London, hold at the Olympia West Hall, in London.
