Here’s is why you shouldn’t skip breakfast

BREAKFAST

Many people skip the morning meal because they’re rushing to get out the door. Most times, it is to avoid traffic and for them to get to their destinations on time.Doctors advise that this is not a healthy habit. Skipping the morning meal can throw your body off-balance. It dis-stabilises the body rhythm of fasting and eating.

At times, it could be tasking making breakfast while preparing  for work or school. It all boils down to effective planning probably the night before. Many studies have linked eating breakfast to good health particularly, memory retention and concentration. Breakfast is basically, the most important meal of the day. The reasons are not far-fetched. Breakfast actually kick starts the body metabolism. It helps to burn calories through out the day. Breakfast strengthens, giving the energy needed to get things going. It also helps to focus at work or at school. Other advantages of taking breakfast includes, lowering the cholesterol levels, decreasing chances of being diabetic, heart diseases and getting overweight.

As you wake up, the blood sugar your body needs to make your muscles and brain work their best is usually low. Having a healthy breakfast helps replenish it. When your body doesn’t get that fuel from food, you are likely to  feel zapped of energy. Later on during the day, you’ll be more likely to overeat. If you don’t eat first thing, you  are likely to have hunger pangs later on that you go for  high-fat, high sugar foods

Breakfast provides the opportunity to get in some vitamins and nutrients from healthy foods like dairy, grains, and fruits. When you skip breakfast, you aren’t likely to get all of the nutrients your body needs.Your body requires food in its system long before lunchtime. Do your body well and ensure you always have breakfast.
