According to reports, ”Ojuelegba” crooner, Wizkid will be signing to Sony Music Entertainment and RCA records today, Tuesday, 13 September 2016. The singer will sign for  a mind-blowing amount, when compared to any African artiste ever signed to the giant music organisation.
Before now, Wizkid has been reported to have signed a global deal which appears to be the biggest deal so far in Africa.
The singer has been doing well running his own record label, Star Boy  and doing massive collaborations with international artistes such as Drake, Sean Paul, Swiss Beatz, Chris Brown and more. The singer had reached number  one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with his Drake ‘One Dance’ collaboration recently.
Wizkid had also headlined a concert – One Africa Music Fest, held at the Barclays Center in New York. U.S.A, performing together with ace producer Swiss Beatz.
Rumours circulating around reveal that Universal Music has been working on Wizkid mega deal, and just might start something soon with the singer.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner is also working on dropping an album titled ”Sounds From The Other Side”  and he has signed Ghanaian acts – Mr Eazi, Efya and R2Bees to his record label. The album is expected to feature the many international collaborations he has featured in.
When the new deal is announced, Wizkid follow the trail of many African stars who are collaborating with international music companies to expand their music and penetrate the global market.
