Yinka quadri turns a year older
By Patricia UyehMovie veteran, Yinka Quadri turns 57 years old today. The Nollywood actor is popular for his lead roles in Yoruba movies.
His acting career dates back to 1976 when he and Taiwo Olayinka together with a group of friends had formed a drama group called ” Afopina Theatre Group” after dropping out of school.
He completed his primary school education and secondary school education at St. Catholic School, Idumagbo, Lagos and Christ High School, Ebute Elefun, Lagos respectively.
His debut television series titled ” Agbodorogun” launched him to fame. Yinka Quadri has about 90 Yoruba movies to his credit. On April 27,2014, the Nollywood star released his biography-Yinka Quadri: Scent of a Legend.
He also celebrated 36 years in the Nigerian film industry.
