It was the gathering of fashionistas, designers and fashion enthusiasts  at the opening day of the Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design week 2016.

As expected, the street fashion was in a class of its own; from classy, to amazing to the ones, that made you wonder, how they managed to pull off a look.  All were present.

Speaking with some of the guests, they had their different expectations from the show. Notably was ace fashion designer, Yvonne Nwosu, she was in the event to do one thing and that is to slay completely. And she did justice to it in orange and blue lacey iro and buba with orange sneakers. Can you beat that?

We also spoke to Lolo 1st Wazobia FM,  who was in an off-shoulder Ankara top on white trousers rocking her latest low-cut blonde hair-do. According to the lively O. A. P, she came to the show to represent curvy girls.

Other guests summarised their expectations in one word they are looking out for in terms of creativity, wow factor, trends and similar
adjectives.

Though the event started later than schedule, if finally kicked off around 8.30pm with designers like Wanger Agu, Style Temple, Titibel, Divine endowments amongst others.

Nigerian singer, Words Are not Just Enough (Waje) serenaded us with her latest hit-Omniknowest. Other celebrities sighted were ace photographer, Kelechi Amadi Obi, ” Iyawo mi” crooner, Timi Dakolo and Noble Igwe.

Check out photos of the guests at the event:
