Nigerian Woman, Temitope Adebamiro enters guilty plea for stabbing husband to death in the US

Nigerian woman, Temitope Adebamiro who allegedly stabbed husband to death last year, on suspicion of infidelity in the United Stated has entered a guilty plea.
Adebamiro entered the plea to manslaughter and a weapons offense at a Superior Court in Wilmington, following the murder of her husband at their home in Bear, Delaware, last year.
According to court documents, she faces four to 50 years in prison when she is sentenced in December, for the murder of her then 37-year-old Pharmacist-husband.
The deceased and Temitope were married for over 10 years before the incident that led to the death of the husband, whom she stabbed to death for allegedly cheating on her with her own sister and their nanny’s daughter in addition the accusation of domestic violence.
According to Daily Mail, Temitope was initially charged with first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon. However, she and her attorney chose to plead to the lesser charge of manslaughter and weapon possession.
Temitope has been incarcerated in Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution since her arrest last year.
Temitope did not immediately admit to police that she killed her husband, but instead claimed he stabbed himself and even changed her story several times.
In an interview, Temitope’s sister had disclosed that she had begun experimenting with juju and black magic and these revelations were supported by evidence described in police reports detailing a photograph of Adeyinka with an ‘X’ across his face and a cut across his neck.
