Lady Gaga is cast as Donatella Versace In TV series

Award winning musician, Lady Gaga will play the role of top designer, Donatella Versace in season three of Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story and it seems a perfect fit for the actress, who has drawn inspiration from the fashion designer for years and was at one time, the ambassador of the Italian fashion house, which she heads, Versace.
Her appreciation for Versace’s signatures—tanned skin, long platinum blonde hair, and slinky figure-hugging dresses—has led to many twinning moments between star and designer.
Although, many musicians and entertainers wear designs from Versace, but only a few are as dedicated to the Italian house as Gaga is. She has sat front row at Versace’s show during Milan Fashion Week on countless occasions, and even has a song on her third studio album, Artpop, dedicated to Versace.
Obviously, when it’s time to get to the grind and work on her characterisation for the TV series, she would need no more inspiration than the pieces in her wardrobe.
