Twitter NG tears into UK radio that called Wizkid “Rising Nigerian star”

Twitter has been buzzing for the past few days following the UK Radio station – Beats1 calling singer, Wizkid, a ”Rising Nigerian star”.
The radio station Twitter handle tweeted urging people to groove to Wizkid’s “Daddy Yo” song but introduced him called him as a rising Nigerian star.
This did not go well with Nigerians who wondered why ”Ojuelegba” crooner should be so under-recognised. With memes, tweets and gifs, Nigerians put the heat on the UK Radio.
