Massive Dolphin caught and slaughtered in Bayelsa state today

A Facebook user identified as Bodmas P. Kemepadei, shared the news of the Dolphin, that was caught in the early hours of today, 13th February at the Brass local government area of Bayelsa State.
After killing the wild animal, the people of the community came out en-masse to partake of the catch.
A school of thought actually believed that the Dolphin could have been preserved for wild life conservation purposes but the people of the community did otherwise, what do you think?
