Nigerian rapper, Onome Onokohwomo, better known by his stage name Yung6ix, took to social media to express his sadness after his cleaner tried to rob him.

According to the rapper’s post on Instagram, he returned from a gig over the weekend only to find his cleaner on the verge of being lynched by an angry mob, for stealing.

He shared a photo of the suspect who was pictured with sticks and a tyre around his neck, who would have been burnt alive in the jungle justice way if not for his timely intervention. Yung6ix wrote:

“Apparently, before I got back from my gig over the weekend my cleaner took off with some of my properties, including cash of a million plus.
“Area boys, who where aware caught him and was beating him before I intervened and handed him over to Police
after he agreed to take us to his accomplice to recover the money and other valuables.
“Sad shiii people do to those tryna help them.”

Earlier last month, the rapper lost his 24karat gold necklace to an overexciteed fan during his performance at the third edition of Jos Rocks and he promised to 500,000 naira to any person would help him recover it.
