Jealous lover kills girlfriend after catching her in the act

Call it military love and you wouldn’t be far from the truth, Airmen, Kalu B. A. and Solape had been dating for a while.

They were fond of showcasing their love on social media but on Saturday, March 11th, everything changed for the worse  after Kalu apparently found Solape in his Makurdi NAF base quarters, in bed with another man.

It was gathered that the next day, Kalu allegedly got hold of a gun and shot Solape for having cheated on him. Solape was rushed to the hospital but did not survive the ordeal as she became lifeless soon afterwards. It was also reported that Kalu tried to kill himself but only succeeded in inflicting a gunshot wound.

After the killing, Kalu apparently penned a suicide note, in which he called Solape a witch, that read;
“It’s a love story of a guy falling in love with a wrong witch who pretended to be good in my eyes and in the eyes of my loving mother,’

‘I’m a guy who pull two rounds in a witch and one round to my (swear word) body. For it is said he who kill by the sword shall die by it.

‘Most idiot would insult me, yes! If I were to be in there shoes I would do the same likewise if they were to be in my shoe, they would even pull more than three rounds on the witch. (sic)

‘Call me crazy lover who died for heartbreak,’

Many have condemned the killing of Solape and Kalu has since been arrested.
