Former Minister of Education and campaigner of the Bring Back Our Girls Group, Oby Ezekwesili is celebrating her mother as she turned 75 years old today.

She took to her Twitter handle to celebrate her mother.

See some of her tweets below:

“She’s my Mom. She’s 75 today. God shall surely, by His mercy, and favour, keep you to a ripe 100 years in Jesus name.

“Here is my beautiful 75-year-old mom rocking praises to our Lord, her God, this morning. Isn’t she lovely?”

“Our mothers are the true heroines of our lives. Hardly any mom that does NOT give their ALL to MAKE THEIR CHILDREN GREATER. Mine DOES DAILY.”

“My beloved Mom taught us the WAY OF THE LORD from childhood. At 75, she gives herself to daily prayers unto God, crying for even strangers.”

“My DEAREST Mom DARED to dream that her daughter could be greater than her & gave her ALL to make it so. Happy 75th Birthday, my AWESOME MOM!”

“My mother is 75 years today. I am so happy for her. What a life of perpetual SACRIFICE. She has lived to give me & many others the BEST.”

“She was my dad’s ‘Jewel of Inestimable Value’ all his life until he died. A Proverbs 31 woman. #HappyBirthdayMom”

Oby Ezekwesili and her group have been mounting pressure on the Federal government to expedite action on rescue operations regarding the captured Chibok girls, many of whom are still in the captivity of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.
