“You’re part of our problem”  -Toyin Abraham calls out fellow actress Adesua Etomi at NEC

At the Nigerian Entertainment Conference held yesterday at Landmark Centre, Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham and Adesua Etomi got into a heated argument about the functionality of organizations in the Nollywood industry.
While, Toyin was of the opinion that movie stars will help the industry grow faster if they join organizations in the industry in order to lend a helping hand to their less privileged colleagues and as well as make better movies, Adesua stated that most of the organizations around were only on paper and  don’t hold meetings.
Toyin in her defense said; “We usually go for meetings, and you need to join as well.”
Curious Adesua asked;
“How many people are part of the system?”
To which Toyin replied;
“I’m a part of it and I will speak for it.”
Adesua didn’t help matters when she pointed that Toyin was the only one in the organization.
The popular Yoruba actress gave a blunt reply that raised the tension a notch too high. Toyin said; “Not just me, I speak for myself and a lot of my colleagues, who come for such meetings, do you belong to any organization, No! So you are a part of the problem.”
Adesua tried to pipe down the intense argument when she asked;
“So how do you make people join such organizations?”
However, Toyin was having none of that and instead demanded that she hopped on the bandwagon by joining an organization first.
