14 Edgy outfits from the Met Gala 2017

All the biggest names in the entertainment industry showed up for the most glamorous and exclusive event in the fashion calendar on Monday night – the 2017 Met Gala.

But while many stars played it safe in understated outfits, a number of famous faces dazzled in some bold, beautiful and downright edgy designs.

Co-host of the night, Katy Perry was first to arrive at the fashion event; the superstar made quite the entrance and set the tune for other celebs, who followed her pattern.

Katy swept onto the red carpet in an intricate Maison Margiela by John Galliano, featuring an embellished red dress, tulle tail and veil.

Rihanna was probably inspired by the bird woman custom, and her make up was a perfect fit.

Wife of singer, Pharrell William and, mother of triplets, Helen had the perfect custom to hid her baby weight gain, if any or what do you think of her outfit?
