Beyonce’s and Jay Z’s combined wealth of $1.16bn admits them into the Billionaire’s club

Pop culture power couple,  Jay Z and Beyonce are officially members of the Billionaire’s club as latest ranking showed that their combined wealth stands at $1.16 billion,

According to the ranking done by Forbes, Jay Z’s fortune is estimated to be $810 million, while Beyonce’s is valued at $350 million. That brings the couple to a combined net worth of $1.16 billion and counting.

So how, exactly, did they pull it off? Ask Beyoncé, and the answer is straightforward: “I’m never satisfied,” she once told FORBES. “I’ve never met anyone that works harder than me in my industry.”

Forbes reports most of Jay Z’s – born Shawn Carter – money is involved in Roc Nation and his other companies.  Both the rapper, 47, and the singer, 35, also have a significant stake in the Tidal streaming music service.

Also, earlier this month, Jay Z signed a 10-year pact with Live Nation to partner on concert events. The deal is reported to be worth $200 million.

In a statement about the deal, the Brooklyn-born rapper wrote: ‘This renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation.  The music mogul continued, “For the next ten years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape.”

Beyonce and Jay Z married were married privately in 2008.

The couple has a 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, and are currently expecting twins.
