Nollywood  producer, Charles Novia thinks #Halleluyah challenge is a marketing strategy

The #Halleluyah challenge spearheaded by ace gospel musician, Nathaniel Bassey has drawn people from far and wide including Nigerian celebrities to participate.

However, there are pockets of people, who are against this movement. This set of people believe that Nigerians have been brainwashed by religion and should focus their energy on science and technology.
Another set of people see the Hallelujah  challenge as a marketing strategy for Gospel musician to grow his brand.

Nollywood film producer, Charles Novia belongs to the latter.

In a recent Facebook post, he states reasons why he thinks the Hallelujah challenge is a marketing strategy for the Gospel musician.

Read his post below:

”Just musing.

”If I am a Gospel Singer and I want to have more followers on Instagram and get more downloads of my songs by those who might not have heard of me before and just trend….

”I definitely would start some sort of ‘challenge’…

‘ ‘Then, my next album or single would definitely be a big hit from that innovation. Brilliant marketing too.

”But I’m not a Gospel Artiste and what do I know? I have to wonder and ponder on  things.

”We must survive this recession o! Abi? Take from the secular and turn it to the spiritual. Learn a bit from innovations?

”P.S. Let’s now begin to see how the crusaders will come up to my wall to write their sanctimony.

”For the doubters, I’m a Christian somewhat…but I use my brains too. And this for uninformed, is a literary use of deliberate sarcasm.”
