“Go and rewrite your story”- Actor, RMD dishes inspirational words to fans
By Rita Chioma,
Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, better known as RMD has been dishing out some inspirational words to his fans on social media recently.

Today, the movie star, who was a Commissioner in Delta State has a word for people, who think they can’t make it in life. He encouraged them to brace up and rewrite their own story.
He wrote: ”I am old enough to know that the circumstances of your birth do not determine the course of your life. I have seen the sons of paupers become kings and the sons of wealthy men become beggars. I have seen the lowly rise and the mighty fall. I have seen the children of petty traders take over the world and I have seen the children of gold merchants amount to nothing. I see you today thinking that your pedigree makes you better than your peers and I see you on the sidelines thinking the circumstances of your “lowly” background make you not good enough to step on the track(s), but darling, you-are-wrong-. Yes, both-of-you-are-wrong! You are not better or not good enough because of what continent or hospital you were born in. The track is for both of you, step on it, pick your ‘lane’, be focused and run your race…run for your life, run for yourself, run…just run. It is not a competition, it is a journey. Keep going, keep pushing. It is on you to rewrite your story. Go win.”
