I am against domestic violence – Actress, Adunni Ade

With increase in the number of domestic violence in the society, Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has come out to give her take on the issue.
In a recent interview, the pretty actress and mother of two said;
‘I’m against it and one of the reasons I fell into depression was because of domestic violence. I do not capitalize on it; you try to move on and be a stronger person- in my case, for myself and my children.’
‘Domestic violence in this setting is not pronounced when there are bigger problems like Boko Haram. We have poverty and so many children, who need help. So, it is not easy focusing on domestic violence. The only way we can go about it is by getting people to talk about and letting people know it is not acceptable.’
