Stop calling me a fraudster -Singer Dammy Krane says as he embarks on campaign against fraud

By Patricia Uyeh,
After the bitter experience with the United States police officers over fraud, ‘Amin’ crooner, Dammy Krane has been battling to break free from the labels people placed on him.

Obviously, unhappy with his fellow Nigerians who still see him as a  fraudster following his arrest and subsequent release for credit card fraud in the US, the singer, in a new video, appealed to Nigerians to stop referring him as a fraudster and focus on more serious issues.

According to Dammy Krane, he would be embarking on a movement against fraud on the 14th of December and it will hold at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

He said :
” Americans freed me because I am not a fraudster. Which means  I don’t do fraud, I don’t do credit cards. But I come back to my country, Nigeria and people are still calling me a fraudster when we have other issues that we supposed to talk about which makes me say we are not moving forward.
“It is not about traveling to America, we should always learn the resources from there and bring it home and use it wisely. As a black man or African, our skin makes them look at us as fraud. On that note, I’m starting this new movement, it is about crime and it would educating Nigerians about crime and fraud”
