Actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde reveals why she stopped reading blogs

Delectable Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde while a guest on a live show listed the ‘dangers’ of being addicted to the social media especially the blogs.
You recall that she was in the news recently for advising newly-weds, Banky W and Adesua Etomi to stay off social media
Speaking on why she cut herself from blogs, Omotola revealed that at some point in her life; she depended heavily on blogs and like many people, she devoted time to checking the blogs to see what was being said.
She said :
“When I stopped, I thought I was going to die, I even defended it that it was necessary to check these blogs as an actor… But I didn’t die”
The star actress stated that when she stopped checking blogs, she was no longer bothered about what was said about her. According to her, she is now at peace with herself.
Omotola also added that the social media makes you do things for others and not for yourself because most times, ones posts are controlled by people’s reactions.
She said:
“Social media is addictive and before you know it, it ruins relationships”
