Lunchtime Beauty Treats for Christmas

December 20,2017

By Funmi Azike

It’s been a hectic year; I congratulate you on the commitment and hard work towards your various endeavours. I think you deserve a special reward. How about a special beauty treat or two? Yes, you deserve that special skin/body treat especially when it doesn’t require long hours and results are amazing. Lunchtime cosmetics procedures quick treatments that can be done during lunch break as they require little or no recovery time.  This Christmas, you can rejuvenate your appearance with any of the following lunchtime cosmetics treatments or procedures.

Laser for Spider Veins.
If you have been forced to wear long dresses or pants to hide those unsightly spider veins, this treatment is definitely one you should consider. Spider veins, also called telangiectasias are clusters of tiny blood vessels that develop close to the surface of the skin. The Laser energy causes small and medium spider veins to coagulate, shrink and eventually fade. You might require up to three sessions for permanent results.

Botox Injection
The year might have been stressful but you don’t have to show up at events with all the crow’s feet, frown lines and wrinkles.  Botox (medical-grade botulinum toxin) works by weakening the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles, causing the wrinkles to temporarily improve or disappear. Effects last between three to six months.

Micropigmentation for Brows, Eyes &Lips
So, like me, you struggle with drawing on your brows and eyeliner, please save yourself that headache and very precious time by scheduling a micropigmentation session.  Micropigmentation is a clinical procedure done to mimic makeup in a bid to enhance colours to the face, eyes and lips. It’s different from tattoos because of depth – micropigmentation is very superficial and lasts an average of two years. When done by a skilled professional, the results are natural and attractive.

Cryolipolysis for Fat Reduction
If you eat right, work out regularly but still have fat in unwanted on areas of the body. The procedure uses extremely low temperature to freeze fat cells till the point where they crystalize and then die. Subsequently, the dead fat cells are eliminated from your body through natural means. It is effective in considerably reducing fat in areas like the stomach, arms, and hips with remarkable results noticed within weeks of treatment.

Facials
Rather than go looking for whitening, lightening and bleaching creams to make up for all the neglect your skin ha s suffered throughout the year, you should book an appointment for a clinical facial treatment. A facial is a skin treatment that improves skin colour, tone, texture and complexion on your face, neck and décolleté. It is usually a multifaceted process that involves skin analysis, cleansing/exfoliating, massaging, steaming, extractions, masking and any other process determined by the therapist.
