Nigerian Gospel artistes are treated as royals abroad- Singer, Sammie Okposo

According to ‘Wellu wellu’ crooner, Sammie Okposo, Nigerian gospel artistes are usually treated as royalty abroad because of the quality of Nigerian gospel songs.
He made this known in a chat with Saturday Beats where he talked about Nigerian gospel songs and its place in the world music industry.
He said:
“I have been to many countries around the world and it is always so special to see the way they accept Nigerian gospel songs.
“They treat us like kings and queens because of the message in our songs and how they glorify the name of God.
For me, this goes to show how relevant our songs are and how people want to associate with the way Nigerians praise God.”
