Singers, Runtown and Davido clash over MTV Base list

For days now, they have been dramas going on in the music industry over top music charts.
It all started last week, when MTV Base listed their hottest Naija tracks of 2017 and the song “If” by Davido claimed number spot.
Coming right behind Davido’s “If” at Number 2 and 3 are Small Doctor’s “Penalty” and Runtown’s “Mad Over You” respectively.
But the industry is not quite happy and female singer, Tiwa Savage took to her intagram to drop a couple of subliminals.
“Numbers don’t lie, they never give credit, it’s not a disease to be female in the Naija music industry. 2018 will be for the fans only”
New numbers have also emerged that shows Runtown’s smash hit song, ‘Mad Over You’ doing amazing numbers way ahead of others with over 57 million views, 7 million streams on spotify while IF by Davido did 54 million views on Youtube, 6 million streams and Small Doctor’s Penalty did 1 million views on Youtube and 300k streams.
