#Grammys: Blue Ivy breaks the internet as she tells Beyonce and Jay Z to stop clapping

By Sewe Ishola,

There is a new trending star in the Carter household and she is Blue Ivy, who broke the internet, after she was seen signalling to her parents to stop clapping at the recently held Grammys.

Blue shushed her parents, Beyonce and Jay Z with a subtle, professional hand gesture while Camila Cabello was speaking—and the Internet went insane.

Beyoncé didn’t walk the red carpet, but made up for the lack of entrance by wearing an epic Black Panther–inspired outfit and a giant hat—maybe even too big, for Blue, who seemed to want her mom and dad to chill with the applause. (Some also theorized that Blue is a fan of the other members of Fifth Harmony, from which Camila Cabello broke out, and so was asking her parents to please respect her stan status.)

Either way, Blue is probably the only person in the world who would ever dare to tell Beyoncé to stop doing anything.

Below is the trending video and Twitter’s best responses to Blue Ivy stealing the spotlight:
