If you are not a good songwriter, get people to write songs for you- Singer, Alariwo

His real name is Rotimi Martins but many refer to him as Alariwo of Africa. Even though he has been off the music radar for some time, Hip TV caught up with him and he had a lot to say about the new generation of musicians.
Alariwo said:
“I call such people musictainers, they are not musicians. They are playing music to entertain. However, a couple of them are creative. By God’s grace, I think it is better for us to seat down and get someone to write songs for us.
“If you are not a good songwriter, get someone to write for you so that the song can stand the test of time but they don’t see that way, they feel that they just have to do it anyway….No
“Abroad they get people that write for them and if the song is a hit, we respect them “
