Simi, LAX, Mayorkun, Humblesmith, Mr. Real and other artistes joined Mavin superstar, Reekado Banks to perform at the grand finale of the Closeup Cool Breeze #CoolLikeThatLagos campus party. The event took place at the University of Lagos Sports Complex.

The event was the Lagos edition for the #CoolLikeThat campus parties and music challenge which ran through major universities across Nigeria including University of Port Harcourt, University of Nigeria Enugu Campus and Benin City. Winners from the #CoolLikeThat music challenge got a unique opportunity to perform on stage with Reekado Banks.

“Closeup believes in giving young talents across Nigeria the opportunity to be themselves, follow their dreams and break barriers. It gives you confidence to act on your desires – to be the next big music superstar, rap artiste, or entrepreneur,” said Tolu Salu, Category Manager, Oral Care, Unilever Nigeria Plc. “This is why we organized the #CoolLikeThat campus parties across different cities to give an opportunity to young people to showcase their music talent to the world.

“Michael Jubril, the #CoolLikeThatLagos music challenge winner, expressed his delight at the opportunity to leverage on the event to reach out to audiences across Nigeria with his rap talent.

“I am so happy for what Closeup is doing. They have shown beyond doubt that they are the go-to brand when it comes to breaking barriers and reaching beyond set boundaries. Tonight I was able to perform on the same stage with Reekado Banks, and I cannot tell you how much this has gone to raise my confidence to do more,” Jubril said.
