US singer, Trey Songs accused of physically assaulting a woman
American singer, Tremaine Neverson, popularly called Trey Songs, is in the news for the wrong reasons.
The unnamed woman who filed the police report against the singer claimed that he became agitated when he saw her talking to another man. According to the woman,both men got into an argument that spurred Trey Songs to hit her.
She had to go to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries incurred in the process. After which, she reported her case to police.
The singer, in a tweet, reacted to the allegations, saying:
“This too shall pass”
Currently, the Los Angeles city Attorney, who is reviewing Trey Song’s case, would determine if he would be charged or not.
Before now, the ‘Slow motion’ crooner was sentenced to 18 months of probation last August after pleading guilty to two charges of disturbing the peace for a concert meltdown in Detroit in 2016.
