Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House On The Rock church and his wife, Ifeanyi celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary yesterday.
Mrs Adefarasin toke to her instagram page to praise and celebrate her husband saying marrying him is the best decision she ever made.
In her words…
“Over 24 years ago, you wrote in the sands on the shores of the Takwa Bay Beach “Will you marry me?” It’s exactly 23 years today, in front of a crowd of witnesses that I said “I do” to spending the rest of my life with you.
That decision to partner with you in the journey of life is the best decision I have made since becoming a believer.
It’s been 23 years of you taking me to heights I would never have known existed or that I would be privileged to walk. 23 years of you covering me as you teach me to become all God destined for me to be whilst covering my weaknesses and frailties. 23 years of carrying me when I was too tired or discouraged to keep moving and yet you kept grooming me in to your bride. 23 years of you protecting me from the violent storms of life and the heat of the fire. 23 years of you providing leadership, sustenance and direction for our family in God’s way.
I couldn’t have asked for better for me! God truly gave me the best!
Thank you for being the most amazing husband in the world. Your homeliness, warmth, kindness, compassion, selflessness and love, put you in a class all by yourself.
Thank you for writing those words in the sand. I pray our purpose as a union will be written in the sands of time forever.
