Football legend, Kanu Nwankwo recovers stolen $11,000

According to reports, Nigerian football legend and former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo who was robbed at the Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport , has recovered his stolen $11,000 from the Russian police.
You recall that the 41-year-old Arsenal striker was robbed at the Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport after he arrived Russia from London ahead of the 2018 World Cup tournament.
He had arrived Kaliningrad for the FIFA oragnised World Cup curtain raiser game, only to discover he was robbed of his money. Speaking on this, Lieutenant-Colonel, the spokesman for the Russia Interior Ministry, confirmed that the money was indeed stolen by two loaders and promised that it would be returned to the Kanu Nawnkwo, the owner.
The latest update coming in, reveal that the money has been returned to the Football legend. A source close to Kanu Nwankwo had confirmed this development.
