Comedian and actress, Chioma Omeruah, popularly known as Chigul, has revealed that she was once described by a follower as Fiona from the movie Shrek.

In the movie, Fiona appears as a princess plagued by a curse that transforms her into an ogress (A cruel wicked and inhuman person) each and every sunset.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, the 41-year-old described how she had grown from the experience and how it had made her the person she is today.

She also revealed that she cried her eyes out when she saw the comment from the follower.

“I just saw this pic from 4yrs ago and I just realized that this was the picture I posted and someone commented, and quote…. ‘It’s finally good to see Fiona from Shrek in person’ it really hurt then and I cried my eyes out but I can look at it now and smile. It’s called “growth”…and I’m grateful to God and my squad…” she wrote.

Chigul started out as a singer under the name C-Flow but this has been subsumed by her characters – principal of which is Chigul.

She starred in the movie, Banana Island Ghost in 2017 and was as a customs officer in Wedding Party 2.
